EPG

Overview

Expo Pavilion Group builds the places where nations tell their stories. Led by Melle Pama, who has worked on every World Expo since Aichi 2005, the Dutch studio is behind pavilions from Doha 2023 to the Saudi Pavilion at Expo 2030 Riyadh. We gave them an identity built from one shape.

Brief

Brief

From Story to Experience.

EPG isn't a conventional studio. It's a platform: for every project, a new team is assembled from specialists in Alkmaar, London, Milan and Riyadh. The work was world-class, but the brand didn't show it.

Concept

Concept

EPG works the same way every time: take the right pieces, arrange them around a story. So the identity does too. A single square is the only building block. Repeated, shifted and stacked, it becomes the logo, the patterns and the grid behind every layout.

The parts never change. The arrangement always does.

Visual Identity

Visual Identity

The squares don't sit still. They slide, stack and rebuild into patterns that differ on every application and still read as one family. In motion, the logo assembles piece by piece, the way a pavilion goes up.

We added dynamic patterns to create movement and variation across digital, print, and spatial applications.

Building Stories.

The square becomes the core building block of the identity, creating a flexible visual language. Repeated, shifted, and combined, the forms generate dynamic patterns that reflect EPG’s evolving stories, spaces, and experiences.
